Easter is just around the corner! This year it falls just before Mia’s birthday so I have a lot of planning and purchasing to do – we’ve been invited to an Easter egg hunt and I’ve ordered Theo’s free from Easter egg, Easter isn’t something I’m usually too fussed about but this year I’m really looking forward too it.
For families like us who deal with allergies and long-term medical issues or for those who just don’t like to gift loved ones with chocolate it can be hard to find alternatives. I’ve compiled a few of my favourite alternative Easter gifts to give you some inspiration.
Who doesn’t love a good Mr Men Book? I got Mr. Impossible and the Easter Egg Hunt (Mr. Men & Little Miss Celebrations) a few years back when Theo was too young for chocolate and it’s always our bedtime story on Easter Sunday. Sometimes it can be hard to find Easter books that don’t sway towards religion but this is just perfect for babies and young children.
Anyone who knows Theo personally will know quite how obsessed he is with Paw Patrol – of course he spotted Paw Patrol: Easter Egg Hunt [DVD] in our local supermarket the minute it hit the shelves and wanted it instantly. He has no idea that I’ve sneaked it into his Easter basket. Do you have a Paw Patrol fan? This is a must have!
One for the adults… Yankee Candle Easter Egg Gift Set 3 Wax Melts in Metal Shaped Egg. I love Yankee Candles, no other candles compare! This fab little gift set includes 3 wax melts presented in a gorgeous egg-shaped tin. If any of my family are reading… I’m dropping a huge hint here…
How cute is this little LEGO Easter Chick (40202) set? I can’t wait to get this for Theo when he’s a bit older – Lego bricks are a parent’s nightmare but they are also a timeless classic.
I know a little girl who will love receiving this in her Easter basket – keep them entertained on Easter Sunday with this DIY Paint Your Own Easter Egg Craft Kit.
Do you have a super young little one? Treat them to a beautiful Happy Easter Personalised Bunny Rabbit – alternative Easter Gifts, completely adorable and a gift to cherish for years to come.
