Struggling to keep the kids entertained over the Easter break? Looking for a simple craft activity that takes 5 minutes but will entertain them for hours? Well you’ve come to the right place!
To make adorable little bunnies like the one beautifully modeled above you will need –
Pink and black felt tip pens.
Make two incisions on either side of the base of a polystyrene cup roughly 3cm long, then place the cup to one side.
Cut two triangles out of a sheet of white card, then take the pink felt tip pen and draw a smaller triangle in each to make ears. Colour in both smaller triangles, then take your polystyrene cup and slide each ear into the incisions made previously.
Now for the eyes, the really easy bit. Take two googly eyes and place a little glue on the flat side of each. Carefully stick them onto the cup, our bunny is really starting to take shape!
Using the pink felt tip, draw a small upside down triangle below but in between the eyes to create the nose, then take the black felt tip and draw a small line coming down from nose that flicks out at each side.
And there you are! Your adorable Easter bunny is ready to be enjoyed – use it as a puppet, a decoration or perhaps try your hand at creating other animals and create a whole collection of creatures.
