Christmas is fast approaching, parents everywhere are searching high and low for this years most wanted gifts and quietly dreading the wrath of their small people if said gifts are not acquired… we all hope for a little treat at Christmas time, a nice bottle of perfume or a pretty dress, but there comes a point for us mum’s when all we really want is…
SLEEP. Uninterrupted deep sleep, preferably for more than a few hours at a time, and if we are really pushing the boat out, on a giant memory foam bed complete with goose feather pillows and a decent looking waiter to bring us cups of tea upon waking.
A CLEANING FAIRY. Someone to change the beds, scrub the loo and unblock the sink. Oh and if they could also do all the ironing, that would be fabulous.
COFFEE, ON TAP. PREFERABLY HOT. If sleep is sold out, coffee is the next best thing.
JUST ONE DAY WITHOUT THE PHRASE ‘BUT WHY’. Quite possibly the two words I hate most in the English vocabulary. When you’ve been asked why the grass is green and the sky is blue 20 times and its only 10am, coffee just isn’t enough.
HEALTH AND HAPPINESS. Joking aside, I’d be happy to spend a Christmas around family and friend’s who are happy and healthy. Creating memories that will last a lifetime.
