Swimming Pride, Wrapping Up Warm & A Birthday Tea #LittleLoves.

I debated writing a #LittleLoves post this week, it’s been, to put it lightly, a tough week. But I’m trying really hard to find positives in everything so this week’s #LittleLoves, although a little half-hearted, is here!

I read an incredibly brave blog post from The Muddled Mother this week, you can read it here. Trigger warning – this post contains references to suicide.

This week I got to watch Mia in her swimming lessons for the first time, she usually goes with Grandma whilst I stay home with Theo so it made a lovely change for her for Mummy to cheer her on. She was absolutely amazing! Her confidence in the water astounds me.

It’s been particularly chilly this week so I’ve been cooking some proper winter warmers like Spaghetti Bolognese , myself and Mia also made a fab pizza as part of a project in collaboration with Sweetpea Pantry for National Pizza day, you can find the recipe here.

It’s been all about hoodies and leggings this week – no time for glamour here! There’s nothing better than wrapping up in this weather.

If it isn’t Disney or a nursery rhyme, I probably haven’t heard it lately…

And lastly…

On Thursday we enjoyed a meal out for my Mum’s birthday – Theo enjoyed a plate of free from sausages with chips and beans and Mia devoured a roast AND a chocolate sundae for pudding! Big smiles all round from them.

Bless you, I can sense you’re week through this post, It’s really positive that you did it anyway though, even the tiniest of positivity is medicine for the soul and mind (must remember that for myself!) I look forward to your next #littleLoves and a renewed energy. In the meantime, cuddle up in those leggins and hoodie and hibernate xxx

It’s always good to do these posts even when you are having a blah week it helps focus on even the smallest of happy to share. I love it. That food looks delicious making me hungry! Hope you had a great start to this week so far. #littleloves
